Bozeman 3 @ Badlands 4 (SO) – The Badlands Sabres battled back to earn a 4-3 shootout victory over the Bozeman Icedogs on Saturday night. Badlands outlasted Bozeman in a tight matchup.Bozeman opened the scoring midway through the first when Sam Trufant scored on the power play, assisted by Seth Hanson and Jace Griffin. In the second period, Bozeman extended their lead to 3-0 after goals from Reid Wilkinson assisted by Alex Brello, and Lex Steckelberg assisted by Devin Bruns and Dominick Cerio. Badlands came back before the period ended, Oliver Giles scored and put Badlands on the board, assisted by Rhylan Olson, and Dayton Niedert followed up shortly after with a goal assisted by Nicklas Bacskaï. Badlands tied things up early in the third when Nicklas Bacskaï scored, assisted by Patrick Gosselin, forcing overtime. After a scoreless overtime, the game went to a shootout where Badlands sealed the comeback win.
